Image from The New Big Book of Logos by David E. Carter
As soon as I opened up the book, this image stuck out to me. I chose this image to represent rhythm because of the ripples at the bottom of the image. "Rhythm is a sense of movement that is created by repetition of multiple unites in a deliberate pattern." This picture really does a good job of giving off a sense of movement. The types of rhythm that I found online are repetition, alternation, and gradation. I'd say this is a great example of gradation which is defined as "creates patterns through a progression of regular steps".
