Symbolic Colors

If you didn't know, this sand dollar is displaying the pattern of the Texas state flag. Red, white, and blue are the colors of the American flag, and are also part of Texas state flag. Red and blue do not go together on the color wheel, yet they do in this photo because of all of the background and history this country has given the colors.
