Positive and Negative Space

From what you can see, this is a great example of an image containing positive and negative space. This image jumped out at me when I was flipping through the book. The ad is actually quite brilliant. The ad is informing us about their new "Sky Wash" jeans, and they cut out the shape of jeans from an image of a sky and it almost looked like they put it on the other page (but as you can see, the pair of jeans seen on the right are not exactly taken from the image on the left). I think that this is an example of a great ad. You can also see a little bit of shadowing on the left image which really gives a whole new meaning to the whole negative aspect of the ad.
